Whether you watch the game for commercials or the love of the sport, you will have a personal connection this Sunday by signing our Superbowl squares! The chart will go up Monday morning in the office hallway near the PLC calendar. Come place your name on one of the squares by Friday at noon. We will fill in the rest of the squares and draw for numbers! The winner of each quarter will win a $25 item for the classroom of their choice in our next Amazon order. So FUN!

World Read Aloud Day

PLC: CAMP Collaboration

World Read Aloud Day is Friday, February 1, 2019! Why is reading aloud important? A 2015 study found that children are exposed to a larger vocabulary from picture books read aloud than from conversations with adults. This is because we tend to speak with the same 5000 most popular words; while books — even picture books — are more likely to use words outside that popular 5000.
